The Reichstag building in Berlin is the meeting place of the German Bundestag (parliament). Berlin’s Reichstag is built in neo-renaissance style and located in the district of Tiergarten (Berlin Mitte). The Reichstag was severely damaged by a fire in 1933 as well as during World War II, but it has been largely reconstructed in the sixties. The famous Reichstag dome was added later on and has become an important place to visit in Berlin.
